We thought we would share with you some of Los Angeles most iconic restaurants! How many have you been to?

IN-N-OUT BURGER

Known for its classic burgers and secret menu, In-N-Out Burger is a beloved fast food chain that originated in Los Angeles. In-n-out Burger has been a mainstay since it was introduced in 1948 by Harry Snyder as California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand in a space barely 10 square feet at Francisquito and Garvey in Baldwin Park.

PINK’S HOT DOGS

A Hollywood institution, Pink’s has been serving up delicious hot dogs in Hollywood since 1939. It is a popular spot for celebrities and locals alike.  Pink’s hot dog stand serves over 2000 hot dogs and 200 hamburgers a day.  Pink’s was started in 1939 by Paul and Betty Pink, with a pushcart they purchases for $50. Hot dogs at the time were 10 cents and cokes were nickle.

THE ORIGINAL PANTRY CAFE

A 24-hour diner that has been serving hearty American breakfasts and comfort food since 1924. Since their initial one-room, 15-stool space, The Original Pantry Cafe has grown to become an official Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.

MUSSO & FRANK GRILL

This historic steakhouse and cocktail bar has been a favorite among celebrities and locals since 1919. Waiters serve classic American fare & martinis to diners in red booths at Hollywood's oldest eatery.  Musso and Frank’s is known for its old Hollywood charm and classic dishes.

PHILIPPE THE ORIGINAL

Home of the French dip sandwich, Philippe’s has been serving up delicious sandwiches since 1908. Philippe’s “French Dipped Sandwich” is the specialty of the house and consists of either roast beef, roast pork, leg of lamb, turkey or ham served on a lightly textured, freshly baked French roll which has been dipped in the natural gravy of the roasts.  It’s a must-visit for any food lover in Los Angeles.

THE DRESDEN ROOM

The Dresden Restaurant & Lounge has been a family owned Hollywood landmark and staple since 1954.  This iconic restaurant and lounge is known for its retro decor and live entertainment.  It gained fame after being featured in the movie ”Swingers”.

LANGER’S DELICATESSEN

This Jewish deli is famous for its pastrami sandwiches, which many consider to be the best in the city. It has been a Los Angeles staple since 1947.  Since its founding, the restaurant claims to have sold over twenty million pounds of pastrami.  Its pastrami has been deemed by some as being the best in the world.
